This is a completely unoriginal observation, but there really is nothing like closing 16 tabs and 4 word documents after an exam

Spencer Greenberg 🔍 (@SpencrGreenberg): I’m trying to follow all of the greatest English speaking intellectuals on Twitter (whether or not I agree with their views) with the plan of doing an analysis of their tweets.
Who is a great Twitter intellectual that I may not yet be following?
Thanks!
Bet you’re not following @SpencrGreenberg!

Roger Grosse (@RogerGrosse): Google has a significant fraction of the world's top AI talent, and yet Gmail has recently been marking as spam nearly every email from the undergraduates in my ML course.
It sometimes even spam filters emails from my grad students or replies to messages I sent.
Marked as spam an offer to interview for a job. Luckily, the sender followed up. Google almost cost me a job!

Geoffrey Miller (@gmiller): What are some beliefs that
(1) you think are factually, empirically wrong,
but that also
(2) lead you to feel more positive (warm, respectful, and/or trusting) towards the people who express that belief?
Many of the comments here aren’t about factual, empirical claims

Eliezer Yudkowsky ⏹️ (@ESYudkowsky): I'd say that I "don't understand" why the people who worry that chickens are sentient and suffering, don't also worry that GPT-3 is sentient and maybe suffering; but in fact I do understand, it's just not a charitable understanding. Anyway, they're both unsentient so no worries.
How confident are you that chickens aren’t sentient? I think it’s plausible that both are, but think it’s more likely for chickens
