Theres a reason 80k lets both sides cut stuff post-interview, doesn’t even try to do everything in a continuous take, and has no video (except randomly Ezra Klein??)
Yeah it’s extremely difficult - at least for some! Reminds me of:

My general view is that:
- Some people do find it harder to date than others
- This *is* a problem
- The majority of the suffering seems to fall on men who want to date women
- This problem isn't women's fault or responsibility
- Hating women isn't the answer
(Not contradicting just adding…) Ambiguous terminology doesn’t help - afaik “incels” sometimes means the original (hateful) subculture or it’s self-identified members and sometimes the descriptive category of straight men who want to have sex but can’t

Peter Wildeford🇺🇸🚀 (@peterwildeford): Question about allocating credit:
If two different groups do an intervention separately without coordination, and it only takes one group to succeed such that the other group wasted their time, how do you allocate credit between them? How is timing relevant, if at all?
I think “credit” is like “credence” in that it breaks down into multiple things depending on what you really care about on edge cases
In some metaphysical sense I don’t think there’s a fact of the matter. So, social credit, evaluation of certain decisions, or something else?
